Md. Quamruzzaman has come from the corporate sector. He is a Notordarian and NSU Alumnus. He is the Team Leader of Uttaron. Md. Quamruzzaman has obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from North South University (NSU), with major in Finance and Accounting, and minor in Economics. He is by Practice and training becomes a Media Consultant, Investment Analyst and Social Entrepreneur. Md. Quamruzzaman has more than 15 years of Private Sector Development experience through his works in projects funded by Donors (The European Union and other) and Government of Bangladesh (Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Agriculture). During his entire career, Md. Quamruzzaman also work in Media, Development Organizations and Banking sectors and gained knowledge and experience in business incubation, mentorship, capacity development, program budgeting, bank loan facilitation, livelihood development, project management, value chain study, and skill training.
For last 10 years he is deeply involved in work related to market linkage, SME Financing and commodity trade, and agribusiness value chain development of food grains. He is an expert in private sector development, specially SME and contract farming.
